2% Tuesday

The beaten up NASDAQ gained more than 2% today. Large caps had a good day, as well, just not quite as good. Retail numbers were good, with Wal Mart and Home Depot reporting brisk sales. Wal Mart's net income was down, but revenue was up 11%. Inflation numbers came in, and they were tame. The one dark spot on the day was housing.
