Good end to the week

Friday was a great ending for the week. The Nasdaq led the way again today as technology shares fueled a broad market surge Friday afternoon. A report on sales of new homes was another major driver of the day's trading. Sales of new single-family homes increased by 2.8% last month to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 870,000.
