Settling In

The Fed's surprise half-point decrease has settled into the market. After 2 excellent days, all indices ended the day in the red. The loss was minor, though. The market is still digesting this action, and economists are looking at effects on the dollar. A couple of big winners today... Oracle reported a 25% increase in its net, and Goldman Sach's earnings were up an amazing 79%. Rate decreases aside, it's company earnings that really determine the direction of the market.
