Dow falls below 13000

The Dow fell below the 13000 mark Monday, after spending a majority of the day in the positive. E-Trade shares lost more than half of their value, leaving a share at less than $4. IBM agreed to acquire business software developer Cognos, for around $5 billion in cash, in hopes of staying competitive in the business intelligence field.
