The Fed Threw a Party BUT...

The Fed came through today and lowered rates 1/2 a point. At first, the confetti was falling on Wall Street. Investors responded by sending the Dow up triple digits. The rally faded by the afternoon, though. Word came down about more concerns among the bond insurers. Oh, that credit market! By market close, we dipped into the red.
