Going Flat

Politics are taking center stage. The Iowa caucuses are over, and the New Hampshire primaries happen tomorrow. For some, the most important issues are international, but for most, it still boils down to "the economy stupid." Paulson is working on plans to aid the real estate market. The Feds seem poised to lower rates again this month. And both parties are talking about how to help the middle class. McDonald's is going to start competing with Starbucks.
