Back From Vacation

I spent last week in the cool Canadian Rockies. What glorious views! The markets stayed calm until Thursday, when all indexes took big drops. I came back to the Mississippi heat, only to find the AC in the office was out. Finally, relief came today on all fronts, as stocks bounced in the right direction. Financial stocks are still swaying Wall Street, and today was no exception. BAC gained 14%, and all indexes responded by adding about 2 1/2%. Oil prices have dipped below $130, with a few hiccups along the way. Summer is not over yet, so I'm still cautious. DJIA +266.48 NASDAQ +55.40 S&P 500 +28.83
