Picking up the Pieces

After my visit to the Mississippi Gulf Coast over the weekend, I must say that the news does not even begin to describe the destruction and devastation that occurred a week ago. Many Louisiana residents affected by the Hurricane Katrina were allowed to see what was left, if anything, of their homes and neighborhoods after levees in New Orleans were plugged over the weekend.
